The Pitts Theology Library maintains a list of recommended commentaries for the Old and New Testaments. That list can be found on our Research Guides for "Interpretation of the New Testament" and "Interpretation of the Old Testament." (http://pitts.emory.edu/guides). Our most commonly-used commentaries are in the Reference section in the BS range. These cannot be checked out. Our full collection of commentaries is found on the first floor, shelved in the call number range of the individual Biblical books.
