This is only an option when you are saving a scanned article to a flash drive using the "Save to USB or email" option, and you can select it as part of the set-up process for the scanning. If you've already scanned an article, you can use the InfoCommons computers with the full Adobe Acrobat program installed in order to run OCR. If you run OCR on Adobe select "Optimize Tool" and then "Recognize Text."
