The Pitts Theology Library offers public carrels on the first and second floors of the library. These carrels, which include power outlets, task lights, and internet connections, are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The library also offers a controlled-access research carrel room on the third floor. Access to this room is reserved to visiting scholars, emeritus faculty, and students working on longer-term projects, which work closely with the Pitts collections. Application for access to the research carrel room, along with a full statement of policies for the use of the carrels, can be found online at the link below.
