The "Ask a Librarian for Assistance" message in discoverE can mean one of several things:
*The item does not circulate and must be used in the library.
*One copy of the item is checked out, although another copy might still be available.

To determine what this message means, click on the "Locations/Call Numbers" tab. This will provide you with some additional information regarding the type of item it is and whether or not a copy is available On Shelf. If you still are not sure what to make of this message, please do contact a librarian and we will investigate the matter.
